Enmax wishes to provide advance notice of upcoming tree trimming activities that are required throughout the TsuuT’ina Nation. ENMAX has identified various locations where trees/vegetation are growing too close to ENMAX-owned overhead electrical infrastructure. On behalf of ENMAX Power, Wright Tree Services (certified arborist contractor), will be performing tree trimming to ensure safe clearances are maintained. Trees/vegetation that grow too closely to power lines could pose as a hazard. Tree trimming is performed to keep our crews safe while working on the wires, to keep the general public safe and to help avoid unplanned power outages.

Given there are various locations through the TsuuT’ina Nation that require tree trimming, a map of the work zones is not possible. Residents can expect to see ENMAX and Wright Tree Services vehicles and personnel onsite performing this work and site cleanup, upon completion. This work is slated to commence on Monday, July 25, 2022 and is anticipated to continue for two weeks.
