Biography:

Waylon Big Plume, also known by his Dene name Dzazi Idiswusha (Elk Whistle), is a proud member of the Tsuut’ina Nation with over 15 years of experience in community & recreation. He is deeply passionate about uplifting youth and strengthening the community through sports and active living. Waylon also has a love for travel, embracing opportunities to connect with new places and people. A dedicated chicken dancer, he finds joy, prayer, and a strong sense of cultural connection through dance, which continues to bring comfort and pride to both himself and his family.
