Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service will be hosting a community learning session on Sex Trafficking and the power of community partnerships next week.

About the Presenter: 
Vicki Rains is a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigation Division with Richland County, South Carolina. She has served in law enforcement for more than 24 years and most recently supervised both the Victim Services Unit and Property Crimes Unit.
Her areas of expertise include:
  • Sex trafficking investigations
  • Domestic violence
  • Forensic interviewing techniques with children
  • Collaborating with non-profit agencies to provide wrap-around services
  • Building unity and relationships through community-oriented policing
Sergeant Rains and her law enforcement partner, Heidi Jackson, were also featured in the Netflix documentary “Missing Dead or Alive”. She is a sought-after presenter who provides both in-person and virtual training programs across North America.
