Dzīnísī gújā(Good day),
As the festive season draws near, it’s a time for celebration, reflection, and cherishing moments with loved ones. On behalf of the Tsuut’ina Nation Police Commission, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a safe, blessed holiday season.
This holiday season, the dedicated members of the Tsuut’ina Police Service continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our Nation. From responding to emergencies to providing critical support and protecting the most vulnerable, their commitment remains steadfast. We are deeply grateful for their unwavering dedication and the vital role they play in safeguarding and serving our community.
This year, we’ve made remarkable progress. The Police Commission is now operating at full capacity with the following esteemed Tsuut’ina Nation members: Chair Violet Meguinis, Co-Chair Teddy Manywounds, Elder Representative Aroha Crowchild, Public Complaint Director Faith Crowchild, and Minor Chief Representatives Regena Crowchild and Steven Crowchild. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Violet Meguinis for her hard work, dedication, and professionalism in maintaining the Commission’s efforts.
Under the leadership of Chief of Police Keith Blake, we are committed to delivering safer streets this holiday season. As part of these efforts, Tosguna has increased check stops to combat impaired driving. We kindly remind all community members to celebrate responsibly and arrange for a safe ride home if needed.
We also want to express our sincere appreciation to our partnering agencies and volunteers. Your ongoing support is instrumental in helping us achieve our shared goal of making Tsuut’ina Nation a safer place for all.
As we celebrate this holiday season, let us continue to work together to build a community where everyone can live, work, and visit with confidence and peace of mind. Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful and safe Christmas.
