Join the Indigenous Artist Selection Committee – Public Art at Scotia Place
Article
Dzīnísī gújā(Good day),
Please see information below regarding Public Art at Scotia Place.
We’re reaching out with an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of public art at Scotia Place — Calgary’s newest sports and entertainment venue.
As part of our commitment to Indigenous inclusion, we are inviting members of the Treaty 7 Nations, Métis Nation, and Urban Indigenous communities to guide the selection of artists whose work will reflect the rich values, stories, and visions of the communities who live, work, and gather on this land.
We are especially encouraging members of the Indigenous Advisory Committee to consider joining the Indigenous Artist Selection Committee. Your insight and experience are deeply valued, and your voice is essential in ensuring this process is community-led and culturally grounded.
