Gújá nágúdīgòy(Good morning),
Please see attached Public Information regarding measles on behalf of the Tsuut’ina Health and Wellness:
With Stampede as well as pow wow and rodeo seasons being upon us Health would like to remind everyone how to try to stay Measles safe at large public events.
With folks traveling across the Province and Internationally the risk of coming in contact with an individual infected with Measles is much higher this year than in previous years.
2 doses of the Vaccine is the best protection someone can have. To families who received their first dose of vaccine 1 – 2 months ago we encourage calling in to book your next shot with Liz Waker or Karen Dodginghorse at the Health Centre 403-251-7575.
Anyone who is unvaccinated is highly recommended to contact the Health Centre to get the vaccine schedule started. Anyone who has vaccine related questions or concerns can also call the Health Centre to speak with one of our Nurses to help with your decision.
Siyisgaas and we hope everyone has a great start to the Summer.
